All your concentration go into the content but in a Website a huge time is spent worrying about the coding. B) There is no worry of database completion in blogs as it will be filled regularly when you post but database should be complete in case of website before uploading it to the server.

4. A Blog is cheaply constructed

As i named wordpress and blogger, you have to spend no money to create your blog on these sites. You don’t have to purchase any domain name and any hosting service. But in the case of Website you have to purchase a domain name as well as hosting service.

5. Blogs are more Search Engine Friendly than Websites

Blogs can be easily setup to ping Blog Directories and search engines when you add a new post or update your Blog. This is one of the best features of a blog. This means your posts will appear in Search Engines very quickly as compared to websites.

Summary: A website is a more like a reference book while a blog is more of a daily newspaper.

A Website contains only one type of related content and focuses on the content and therefore targets just one kind of people.

On the other hand, a portal provides content from diverse distributed resources and provides many features like news, stock prices, research, entertainment, learning, shopping, discovery and other information. So it targets all kind of visitors.
